A
MESSAGE OF HOPE & VOICE OF FIRE.
This
man lacked nothing but, God’s Mercy…
They are Pagans in the Pulpit and
Pews.
There was a
man in the Bible who had everything he needed.
This man lacked nothing. He had
many wives, houses, servants and large farm-lands. One day, he sent his servants to harvest all
his farm products and the harvest was very large. He then said to himself, I will pull down my
old barn and build a new and bigger one where I can store all these products. Oh! I am so rich, exclaimed the man, my heart
eat and be merry.
God came to
him and said, "You fool I need your soul tonight" He died in his
sleep. It is a common knowledge that a
lot of people make elaborate plans about their lives, what they will eat and
drink and what they will wear while ignoring God. They do not bother to know the will of God
for their lives. The Bible says in James
4:14, "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a
little time, and then vanisheth away" Man
is but a passing shadow.
On
his own, he cannot help himself. That is
why Jesus Christ told us in John 15:5, "I am the vine, ye are the
branches. He that abideth in me and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without me you can do
nothing" If your life is anchored on the Lord Jesus Christ, then all your
plans are solid, because your life is now hid in Christ who is the rock of
ages.
Beloved,
all the tall ambitions to become somebody very great, all your plans to marry
your heart desire, all your good intentions to travel abroad, all your wish to
acquire enough money for that building project, all your beautiful idea to
settle down and start raising a home might not be fulfilled, unless you hand
over all these things to the God who knows no impossibility, and the God who
controls tomorrow.
But, they are Pagans in the Pulpit (Daughters of Jezebel), Dogs will them up.
Even though Our Father in Heaven is not a man (Numbers 23:19), He still revealed himself in His Word to us as a He. All
references to Him in the Bible are in the male gender -save for matters of some
indirect poetry. This is without exception and should therefore never be
altered nor changed. To do so would be to thumb our noses into the face of Our
Father and the revelation that He chose to give us about Himself. Furthermore,
God the Son chose to come to Earth in masculine form - as a MAN; not as a
woman! (Daughters of Jezebel).
Radical feminists and Neo-Pagans, who have infiltrated the
church, however are in a frantic fervour to change all that. They have
campaigned night and day for years for this change to be expressed and
promoted. Politically, philosophically and religiously. Not long ago spiritual
feminists were featured on NBC newscasts shaking their fists at the cameras and
shouting: We will change the church!
Unfortunately, they now have taken a quantum leap toward their goal as we will
see later in this article.
THE GODDESS
Goddess worship goes way back in history and is expressed in
most false religions, ancient and modern. Female figures of all sorts, and in
many forms, have been elevated to the point of being worshipped as Deities. We
see this in the Old Testament, where the Queen of Heaven was petitioned and worshipped; and in the New
Testament they erected temples to Roman and Greek goddesses as the focal
points. Paul the Apostle was well acquainted with this idolatry and naturally
abhorred it, as should we. We would only have to know the first of Gods Ten
Commandments in the Bible to understand why!
But the liberal factions of Christianity (I use the word
charitably) have left themselves wide open to all kinds of influence and even take-over by this female brand of
witchcraft. So widespread is this influence, and so many-faceted and diverse
has it become, that one can almost not get a radar fix on it. Goddess
worshippers brag that they came before
Christianity and thus they must be more legitimate. They have ancient roots for
sure, but that doesn’t in any
way contribute to their truthfulness. On the contrary.
Lucifer, on Earth before Jesus, would consequently have to be better than Jesus if that train of
logic were followed. Foolishness!
In 1998 a conference was held in which thousands of women,
representing many Christian denominations, participated. This conference was
dubbed The Re-imagining
Conference and is often referred to as the Sophia Conference because God was referred
to as a female with that name (Sophia)-
and Jesus was allegedly his daughter ,Christa.
All this in the name of fairness and honour to women, of course! Women started
their prayers together: Our Mother which art in Heaven; Hallowed be Thy name| , and Witchcraft,
Lesbianism, Occultism, and all forms of Paganism, were welcomed and celebrated. One could wish that this
ungodly gathering was merely a blip on the screen of history; gone forever. Not
so.
SOPHIA
The fanatical feminist and radical lesbian, Virginia Ramey
Mollenkott, forecast a re-imagining
for the church in 1994. We would avoid
the andocentric language (Father, Son, etc.) and the dominant sub- mission
theology|. I can no longer worship in a theological context that depicts God as
an abusive parent and Jesus as the obedient trusting child. (Quote from Tal Brooks The Conspiracy to Silence the Son of God, p
91). One has to wonder whether she ever worshipped anything but her own
re-imagined divinity!
Another female apostate, Dolores Williams, professor at Union Theological Seminary echoes
this in The Presbyterian Layman: I don’t think we need a theory of atonement
at all|. I don’t think we need folks hanging on crosses and blood dripping and
weird stuff (ibid, p 91)
In her book, An
Acceptable Time, author Madeleine LEngle
(famous for A Wrinkle In Time) likens those who believe in the atonement of
Jesus Christ to murderous savages who slaughter humans for Mother Earth.
The Bible says about these women: But there were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily
shall bring damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and
bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Pet. 2:1)
THE CHURCH
And now the United Methodist Church has elected one of these blasphemous, feminists, Sharon Brown
Christopher, to be the head of its
Council of Bishops! She is the first woman to hold this office in UM
history. Sharon Rader (of the same ilk) who has held the position of Secretary
for the last 6 years, has also been re-elected. Both
women were early supporters of the Re-imagining Movement. A recent paper from Culture and Family Institute
describes them thus: [They] cast aside
orthodoxy and promoted a lesbian affirming religiosity that denied the atonement
of Christ and featured pagan rituals and worship of various goddesses in place
of the Christian Godhead. United Methodist Bishop, Earl G. Hunt has
commented on Re-imagining: No
comparable heresy has appeared in the church in the last 15 centuries. This material
must be eradicated from Christian thinking. We wish he could have
succeeded!
But Bishops Christopher and Rader deny that this is heretical
-accusing anyone who disagrees with them and their false theology of verbal
violence. Engaging in
verbal violence against lesbians reveals the homophobia in the church and
denigrates the rich contribution that homosexual persons have made to the
church through the centuries.
Baptist, Donna Hailson wrote: At
Re-imagining, we heard denied the deity and sinlessness of Christ. Lifted in
His place, by one speaker, was the Cosmic Mother, The
Mother Goddess of the Aztecs and others. .. Mary Castellanos said -Mary is the
composite of ancient, current, and future manifestations of the one who will
not be suppressed...the ageless and universal sisterhood: Isis, Aphrodite,
Bridgit...whom I propose to you is the one whom we must continue to
re-imagine|[she suggested] that participants embrace the Virgin of Guadeloupe
as the unifying -goddess of the Americas| Barbara Lundblad encouraged people to
laugh at the Bible and Jesus and twisted the words of her text, John 20, to
insist that re-imaginers not hold onto Jesus, because some in the group had
already heard -altogether too much about Jesus (From Culture and Family Institute report)
The final ceremony at the
conference was the ritual biting of the apple to symbolize a woman’s solidarity
with Eve in her rebellion and determination to grasp knowledge regardless of
the consequences (ibid)
We thank God for women who have
literally sacrificed their lives in order to bring Jesus Christ to the lost.
Please pray for the thousands of women who are the Keepers of HIS WORD to our
next generations!
Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Believe and trust in Him today for tomorrow
may be too late.
Beloved,
God is waiting for you now. Confess you
sins and accept him as your master. Now
say this…Lord Jesus, I come to you now, and I repent of all my sins.
I
accept you now as my Lord and personal saviour.
Forgive
me Lord. Thank you Jesus for saving me.
Now pray these prayer points with all your
heart:
1.
Father Lord, give me power to overcome every spirit of worldliness in Jesus
name.
2.
Every tree the enemy has planted in my life be
uprooted in the name of Jesus.
3.
Lord, baptise my life with your Holy Ghost and power in the name of Jesus.
